Committed to helping others
Tim grew up in Dunwoody and graduated from DHS in 1993. In 2014, Tim left a comfortable life in the U.S. and traveled to Africa to help those most in need. He lived in the villages of Africa and truly connected with the people there- helping build schools, bettering water aqueducts and improving lives. Unfortunately, we lost Tim in late July of 2015 to complications related to malaria.
While in Africa, he lived among the poor in remote villages. He lived where change was needed most. Tim created relationships with the local people and worked well with everyone- especially the young. His death was felt by everyone.
Tim was born to make a difference in Africa. What he did and how he lived touched the lives of many and won't be forgotten. His work will continue. His name, spirit and legacy will remain with us forever as a catalyst to do good all around the world.
